Caron’s history

Collection

Caron began in 1882 as a Canadian Pacific Railway siding. It was named after Sir Adolphe Caron, who was then Canada's Minister for Militia and Defence. The hamlet sits on the south side of the Trans-Canada Highway, 26 kilometres west of Moose Jaw, along the course of Thunder Creek.
